      Gordon Napier, March 2009
      Book-cover format. Illustrates the
scene from Arthurian legend, where Perceval, after his arduous quest for
the elusive Grail, sees drops of bird's blood on the snow. He is sent
into a reverie, suddenly remembering his long-lost love Blanchefleur,
and her white skin and red lips. He is so entranced that he is unaware
of the knights of Camelot who have come along. Kay, offended by being
ignored, charges at him, but still Perceval is unresponsive. I'm attempting
book-cover wrap around format for a portfolio mock-up. Eventually Perceval
comes out of his trance and kicks Kay's ass, paying him back also for
a previous episode where he caused offence striking a maiden.
