Creature's Pet

Creature concept piece in ink.

Gordon Napier Mar 2008

Produced for a creature designing competition on conceptart.org . I thought it would be a good challenge. The creature had to be undead with two heads, not humanoid, nor a plant, nor bloblike, with no accessories or clothing. A short description of the creature was also asked for:

This is actually a Two-Headed Undead Black Beast of the Chiltern Ridge. Each head has one eye, and the brain is only partially divided. These creatures are quite pesky in the wild, known to devour the odd calf, sheep and bairn. They are the sort of thing a young squire might earn his spurs by slaying, but no match for a fully fledged knight. They can, however, be domesticated, and make quite good pets. They also deter burglars.
