After Falkirk

The battle of Falkirk (1298) was a victory for Edward I of England over the Scots under William Wallace. The Templar Master Brian de Jay, who was notoriously ruthless and hardly a credit to his Order, fought on the English side. He led the charge after the Scots who fled into the woods. One of the Scots, possibly Wallace himself, turned around and killed the Templar.
